1. The service
UltimateCalc provides free online calculators covering finance, tax, health, mathematics, conversions, dates and everyday arithmetic. Each calculator shows its result together with the formula used, a step-by-step working and a visual breakdown, and lets you copy, download or share that result.
The service is free, and will stay free. There is no subscription, no paid tier and no sign-in. It is funded by advertising and by affiliate links, as described in the Privacy Policy.
2. Using the calculators and their results
You may:
- use any calculator as often as you like, for personal or business purposes;
- copy, print, download and share the results you generate, including the PDFs and the text the share bar produces, and use them in your own documents;
- link to any page on the site.
You may not:
- copy the calculators themselves - their code, layout, explanations or design - to republish elsewhere, or present them as your own;
- use automated tools to scrape, crawl or bulk-download the site in a way that burdens it or bypasses its normal use (ordinary search-engine indexing is welcome);
- interfere with the site's operation or security, or try to get around any technical measure on it;
- use the site for anything unlawful.
3. Results are information, not advice
Every result is produced by a general formula applied to the figures you entered. It does not take account of your circumstances, and it is not financial, tax, legal, medical or other professional advice. The Disclaimer explains this in more detail for each kind of calculator. Before acting on a result in a way that matters - taking a loan, filing a return, making a health decision - check it with the institution or professional concerned.
4. Accuracy and availability
We take accuracy seriously: the arithmetic behind each calculator is tested, the rules that vary by country are kept in one reviewed place with the date they took effect, and every result shows its working so you can check it yourself. Even so:
- rates, thresholds and regulations change, and a calculator may reflect a previous version until it is updated;
- a formula may be a standard simplification of a more complex real-world rule;
- we may have made a mistake, in which case we would like to hear about it.
The site is therefore provided “as is”, without any warranty that it is accurate, complete, current or uninterrupted. We may change, suspend or withdraw any calculator or the whole site at any time without notice.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, UltimateCalc and the people who run it are not liable for any loss or damage - including financial loss, lost profit, or loss arising from a decision made in reliance on a result - that comes from using the site or being unable to use it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
6. Intellectual property
The site's name, logo, design, code, explanations and other content belong to UltimateCalc or are used with permission. Formulas and public rules - a loan repayment formula, a tax slab - are not ours and are not claimed; what we own is the way they are presented and explained here. The rights granted in section 2 are the only ones you have in that content.
7. Advertising, affiliate links and third-party sites
Ads on the site are served by third-party networks, and some pages link to companies that may pay us a commission. We do not endorse any advertiser or affiliate, we are not party to any transaction you have with them, and their sites have their own terms and privacy policies. An affiliate relationship never affects the numbers a calculator produces.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and using the site after a change means the updated terms apply. We will not change them in a way that makes the calculators anything other than free to use.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute about them is subject to the courts of India. If you use the site from elsewhere, you are responsible for complying with your local law.
10. Contact
